Instacolor
Instacolor combines the good parts of the Color App with – well – Instagram. You can browse lcoations for instagram pictures. In fact I am still wondering, why Instagram does not have a small option for browsing pictures nearby. But, I guess it will be added one day. Until then, you could Instacolor give a try. I definately like the idea of browsing pictures around me.

Banjo
Many people like checkin’ in to the place they are using Foursquare, Facebook, Gowalla, Twitter, etc.
This is where Banjo starts – it gathers the location information from your different social networks and melts them together in one app, onto one map. Simpel idea – but really useful, since I want know where my friends are, without caring about which social network they use:
“Banjo helps you discover what you’ve been missing by connecting real people in real time – across social networks. Find the people, places & things that matter most to you.”
Banjo is for free and available for iPhone and Android.

trimit
… is an automatic text summariser and editor for iOS to easily and clever trim content to any size that fits your social sharing needs.
trimit – automatic text summariser from frimby on Vimeo.
trimit utilizes a patent-pending algorithm to automatically summarise (‘trim’) text to any specified length. Text can be summarised with a simple shake gesture, and edited into a length suitable for tweets, facebook status’, text messages, emails and more. Text can be directly imported from any URL right from within the app using HTML parsing. trimit’s sharing capabilities are extensive, and are all accessible from within the app; email, SMS, facebook, twitter, printing and saving as a .txt file. The text file can then be synced with a computer, and similarly, files can be imported from another device into trimit in order to be sumarised.

Songkick Concerts
Great App, that shows you all the concerts in your sourrounding area – well, that not this pretty new. But furthermore the App scans your music library and shows you only the concert of your favourite artists and bands. Simple thing, but great benefit!
You could also buy tickets from the app, but – and that is the big minus – they use a normal website shown in an in-app browser. That does work very well, since the website is not tuch-friendly at all – pretty bad thing, since for sure this is the main business model of this app…
Nevertheless, the app does a great job in showing you the next concerts, comes with a clean and well-done UI and it is for free.
Appstore Description:
“Get 100,000 concerts in your pocket! Songkick allows you to track your favorite bands so you never miss them live. The app will scan your music library and create a personalized calendar based on your bands and your location.
Features:
* Scans your iPhone/iPod Touch music library to track your favorite artists.
* Get a personalized, local concert calendar for your bands.
* Alerts when new concerts are announced.
* For every concert, see the line-up, venue map, all the ticket options, and invite friends.
* Browse all events in your location or any city worldwide. Add/edit more locations.
* Customize your tracked artist list, so you never miss your favorite bands live.
* Browse the full tour schedule for your favorite artists.
* Keep track of your concert plans.”

**UPDATE** Reposito
Also dann, fröhliches Scannen.

Back online
We apologize, but we’ve been offline for a while now: Holidays, surfing, OFFF Barcelona, WWDC San Francisco, other projects or just simple offline time… But we are back online, writing about more cool and worth seeing apps. So have fun and enjoy!

Erstes Schreiben, erstes Lesen
