The idea itself is – well – old. Google has the technologie as well. But Kooaba – the guys who built the great paperboy app – used their technologie for a pretty simple but really useful app!

Dèjá Vu turns your iPhone into a visual memory.

Just take a picture of something and the App (well the Koaba Servers) scan the picture, try to recognize the thing and tag it accprding to the recognition. I have not played with a lot so far, but so far it worked pretty well. We will keep you updated if we make any different experiences. Unfortunately you need to set up an account to make more than 10 Memos, but it is for free.

In fact, I am one of these persons who already take tons of pictures to keep things in mind and therefore I definitately like this App. Available for iPhone (free).
