We already posted the preview video some weeks ago and finally the app has been released. Rumpelstiltskin is an interactive 3D pop-up book: the guys from Idela Binary did a great job and created a beautiful version of the Rumpelstiltskin tale. It is really fun to scroll through the book and its pop-up scenes – even for the grown up like me! I would loved to have some more interaction possibilities, but the existing pieces are great. The only thing I missed was the possiblity to let the iPad read te story for me – especially for children’s books this is mandatory in my opinion. But even though, Rumpelstiltskin is a beautiful interactive pop-up book and it shows the strengthes of tablet computer like the iPad compared to the clasic printed books.
For 2,39€ it is definately worth a download! It is available as a hybrid download for iPhone and iPad, though the iPad version makes much more fun, due to the bigger screen.
