In fact it is just an reader/viewer app, that lets you consume media of different types (Browser, Youtube, Twitter, etc.). But the great thing: the UI is designed in Star Trek TNG style. It turns your iPad or iPhone into something getting close to the TNG devices.
As mentioned before: it is nothing new in terms of features, but if you are a Trekkie or just liked the TV Show, it is definately worth a try.
